Business Math Classes

The Math Pathway for students seeking a bachelor’s degree in business includes two business math classes College Algebra (Math 111) and also may include Business Calculus (Math& 148). Business majors are often required to take statistics, and it is recommended they take Business 210 (Statistical Analysis) rather than Intro Statistics (Math& 146).  Please check with your faculty adviser to ensure you take the courses you need.  If you are seeking an AAS in Business from Highline, you may not need to take any college-level math courses. If you need extra support before enrolling in your required math course, we offer preparatory courses for students who need extra support, such as Essentials of Intermediate Algebra (Math 091) and Introduction to Algebra (Math 81).
