Education Math

The mathematics requirement for education majors depends on where you plan to get your bachelor’s degree. Students planning to get their education AAS or BAS from Highline should talk to a faculty in the department of education at Highline. If you plan to transfer to another college for your bachelor’s degree, you may enroll in Number Theory for Teachers (Math 180) or Geometry for K-8 Teachers (Math 181). Please talk with your faculty adviser to make sure you take the right college-level math course, as the requirements can vary by college.
